Donate to the River des Peres Watershed Coalition
Over the past 20 years, the River des Peres Watershed Coalition has lead efforts to improve the River des Peres waterway. Volunteers have cumulatively commited over 19,000 service hours in these efforts ranging from water quality monitoring to trash pickups. In the past two decades, over 100 tons of trash have been removed from the river. This litter might otherwise have been channeled downstream to the Mississippi River. Additionally nearly 400 hours have been committed to educational events that reach the community to promote best practices for improving water quality.
